Shuai-Jiao is not like any other Chinese Martial Art you have ever experienced. It has thousands of years of history but yet has a very modern and practical outlook with a strong enthusiasm on practical grappling skills.
Literally translating to "grab and throw" Shuai Jiao is a form of wrestling from China recognised as the oldest martial art in China, with more than 5000 years of history.
While being a practical stand up grappling art comparable to some modern throwing arts like Judo and Sambo. Shuai Jiao is a traditional Chinese martial art that uses ancient Chinese techniques of gripping and throwing, with sweeps and throws being the primary methods taught.
While Shuai-Jiao has its own distinct training wear, a short sleeved Jacket called a Jiao Yi (wrestling Cloth) made from heavy cloth similar to a Judo Gi. It has a mix of both Jacket & No Jacket Throws(Gi/No Gi)
